The package defines the PostScript font family `Palatino' (ppl) as the default roman font and then uses the `mathpple' fonts for typesetting math. These virtual fonts have been created for typesetting math in a style that suits the Palatino text fonts. The AMS fonts, when used additionally, will be scaled to fit Palatino. This package was implemented by Walter Schmidt.
